FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I just need a popup bar, do you do dry hire?

We do provide dry hire mobile bars.  We have 2 types of dry hire packages for our events: dry bar only or as a staffed dry hire.  All our bars are completely original designs, and come fully equipped with interior shelving, space for stock, ice-wells, shelving and speed rails for a high quality service. Can I have a cash bar at my event?

You can, we also accept all forms of debit and credit card.  We can provide a cash bar based on a minimum spend, meaning you don’t need to pay a large up-front fee.  As long as the minimum spend is met, the staffing, mobile bar and full-stocked bar is included.

Do you have insurance?

Of course, we take our events very seriously and have public liability insurance to the value of £5 million and employer liability for £10 million.  Please get in touch if you would like to see a copy.

I just need a bartender for my event, do I have to hire the bar?

Yes, you can - our mixologist/cocktail bartender only hire starts from £40 + vat per hour.  We include pre-event management, advice on choosing your cocktails, a detailed shopping list and all mixology and equipment setup within this rate.  Your bartender will arrive a minimum 1 hour prior to the event start time and clear up within 30 minutes of the finish time within this rate.  We also have flair bartenders available from £50 + vat per hour.

How many bartenders do you recommend for my event?

This depends on the number of cocktails you would like to serve.  We recommend a maximum of 40 guests per mixologist based on serving 3 different types of cocktails during an event.  We also provide bar backs/bar support for larger events.

Do you do cocktail making?

Our master classes are a fantastic way to get a party started.  Whether it’s an office team building or a hen party, our mixologist will get everyone involved and provide a fun yet educational experience.  The cocktail making experience can be all inclusive where we provide all equipment, glassware and ingredients or on a staffing basis only.

Can I provide my own drinks?

Yes you can.  Once you have selected your cocktails, we will provide you with a detailed shopping list based on the quantity of cocktails required.

Can you provide all the drinks?

Yes of course.  We have a range of all-inclusive drink packages, food & drinks deals and can provide you with all types of alcohol, specialist ice, glassware meaning you don’t have to think about a thing – just choose your favourite drinks and leave the rest to us.

Can you provide specialist cocktail glassware?

We have a range of specialist cocktail glassware, vintage tins, tiki mugs and much more that will really impress your guests.  Our all-inclusive packages include the appropriate glassware for each drink.  For dry hire options, we can rent out glassware at a cost from only 30p + vat per glass, including all the cleaning.

I am looking for a fully stocked bar, can you provide everything?

Please contact us for a bespoke all-inclusive package.  Once we know what your vision is for your event we’ll put together a set package with all the inclusions you require, to include a set number or unlimited drinks throughout your event.

What do I need to provide for the mixologist to come to my house?

The answer is, not much. We need about 1.5m squared per bartender as a workspace and if you are not hiring a bar through us a surface area of 1m x 1/2m surface area for the bar to be setup on.  Running water is ideal but not essential and depending on the types of cocktails chosen we may need a 13amp power socket.

Which cocktails should I choose for my event?

We are happy to advise you on which cocktails would work best based on the guest profile.  Be careful to choose a selection of spirits and flavours to keep different tastes happy and don’t go for everything sweet or sour.  Its usually a good idea to choose a range of colours & serving styles to give your event that extra special touch.

How many cocktails should I have at my event?

We find that 3-5 cocktails usually works best for a cocktail party.  A lot of people tend to get influenced by others and follow their choices and if there are too many options, this may mean that some don’t get selected.  If you have gone to all the work to buy the different alcohol, purees and garnishes for lots of different types it’s a shame if they don’t all get used.

How much does it cost to hire a mobile bar for my wedding?

We provide a range of services for wedding bars including a full event drinks service, welcome drinks, dry hire, cash and card bars, bespoke cocktails and fully inclusive packages.  We cater for anything from 30 – 1000 guests and have a range of bar types to suit.  Costs start from £500 + vat for a dry hire and £750 + vat for a minimum spend.

Do you do drinks packages, what is included?

Our all inclusive packages are all bespoke as every event is different.  However we include the following with every package: event management & advice on drinks selection, a popup bar, mixologist(s), setup & teardown, delivery, all alcohol, ingredients, bar equipment and specialist glassware.

Do I need to provide the cocktail making equipment?

For staffed events, we will always bring all the equipment needed such as shakers, chopping boards, knives, muddlers for your event so you don’t need to provide your own. We can also add cocktail making equipment into a dry hire bar if you require.  However if you are interested in purchasing your own equipment we are happy to advise you on where to buy from.
